The bike stations are located at hotels, are they restricted to use by hotel guests only?
Absolutely not. Whilst hotels make great central locations for our stations, the bikes are available for hotel guests and the general public alike.

Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes. Current Australian law requires all bicycle riders to wear an approved helmet whilst riding.

Where do I get helmets, locks, maps and lights from?
These are all available from the concierge or front desk of each hotel. There is no extra cost for these items. Helmets are fully sanitised after each use.

What can I do if I find a bike to be damaged?
There is a ‘Report Damaged Bike’ option on the keypad of the kiosk. This will allow you to report a bike number and specific damage to us so that we can then attend to the bike. If this is the case, remember you can exchange bikes without extra cost. It is very important to us that you enjoy your Spinway experience. If you feel disappointed in any way, please speak to the concierge.

Where do I ride to?
Canberra has a wealth of outstanding attractions, many of them within easy riding distance of the city centre. A cycling map produced by Visit Canberra is available as part of your bike hire.
